CO2 Safety
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a gas that is present in the air we breathe in small quantities. About 400 Parts Per Million (PPM). CO2 is a widely used gas in the beverage and cannabis industries can be extremely dangerous if not used properly. The latest revision of the International Fire Code (IFC 2015) requires that any site using Carbon Dioxide to have a detection system for CO2 gas. This code also requires that a notification or alarm be set off when the atmosphere reaches 5,000ppm. Many times other equipment can be needed to comply or keep workers safe.
Call us for assistance in designing or auditing your existing system. We will help you become compliant with your local codes that are based upon IFC 2015. We can help!
Whether you are enriching a plant growing atmosphere with CO2 or brewing beer or have a restaurant Gas & Safety Systems Consulting, LLC will help to keep you safe and compliant.
